Self-appraisal Report completed and studied widely

Beijing Jiao Tong University completed his self-appraisal report about undergraduate education yesterday by soliciting opinions widely and revising the report repeatedly. The university requires all the departments to study the self-appraisal report seriously, enhance the sense of pressure, responsibility and mission to meet the evaluation, and plough into various preparations for the evaluation.
The self-appraisal report consisted of aspects about brief introduction of the university, guideline of running the university, teachers team, teaching condition and its utilization, specialty construction and teaching reform, teaching management, style of study, effect of teaching, characteristic programs, general situation of evaluation and construction, future development and so on. The self-appraisal report concluded the efforts made by our university in recent years to improve the undergraduate education, the effect of the work and the basic experience completely and summarized two characteristic programs including “to inherit the hundreds of years long history of patriotism and repayment and to promote factualistic and innovative development” and “to practice more in the integration between study and practice and to innovate in actual teaching practice” briefly. This report is of vital importance for both the teachers and the students to know more about the undergraduate education.
